- Time: 6 pm to 8 pm; Guests may enter the building at 5:30 pm to tour the museum, then head upstairs for the reception which will be hosted on the second floor and rooftop garden (third floor), offering dramatic views of Boston and the Charles River.

- Cost: $55 (inclusive); guests are welcome for an additional $55
- Menu: Hot and cold hors d’oeuvres; cheese, vegetable, and fruit platters; and beer, wine, and assorted non-alcoholic beverages.
- About the venue: The museum represents 200 years of medical innovation but the building itself is new, dedicated in 2011. Built of copper and glass and located on a prominent site at the entry to the hospital’s downtown campus, this freestanding, purpose-built hospital museum is the first of its kind in the United States. Reflecting Mass General Hospital’s achievements, culture, and place in the community, it showcases the evolution of medicine and surgery at the hospital and the innovative science and research behind it.
